Making A Blog For Your Network Marketing Business

By Greg Jackson on July 8, 2014

Making a blog to build your network marketing business can be challenging. Here are some pointers that can help with blogging on your MLM profit base.

Making a blog is the start of your marketing universe!

A blog should be, in my humble opinion, your marketing base from which all of your marketing efforts flow from.

If the world came to an end and your current network marketing company took a nose dive into the Failed MLM Hall of Fame, your main base of operations should still be standing. That’s why making a blog is so important.

Hard sell your knowledge, but soft sell your products!

I’m a firm believer in making a blog that utilizes information marketing. When it comes to posting on a blog, giving out as much valuable information as possible is what gets visitors to your website.

Even writing a product review about your network marketing company falls in the category of information marketing, but don’t overdo it.

When making a blog becomes a giant poster for your company, your readers will lose interest.

Like a lot of things in life, the spin that you put on your blog topic is very important. Too much selling will come across as a sales page, so I recommend having no more than an 80/20 ratio; the 80 percent is the valuable content, of course.

Personally, I have a tendency to try and get the attention of the search engines, but finding a balance with keeping the readers happy is crucial.

I wouldn’t want my customer base to bounce off the website because of a lack of valuable information.

Trust me on this: if you provide really good information with a topic that has a high demand, the search engines will find you.

Don’t forget your retail customer base!

One of the things that most network marketers forget is the potential marketing reach to retail customers.

Not all of your customers have to be network marketing recruits, so you want to be sure to include them in your marketing mix.

Whether it’s providing them with information that lends itself to having your product as the solution, or providing insight that could transform them into possible recruits, be sure to tailor your message so no bases are left uncovered.

Wishing You the Best,

Greg Jackson
