MLM lead generation is the largest goal for success in your MLM business, other than signing up prospects to your network marketing opportunity.

It’s a simple process. I don’t mean to suggest that it’s easy.

Let’s first start out with the most obvious fact: buying leads is a waste of time. In addition, having an online presence is a necessity. The right ingredients of building your MLM lead generation funnel starts with generating traffic and creating content.

Traffic + Content = MLM Lead Generation Success

In order for lead generation methods to work, especially with network marketing, you need to have at least one or two things going for you:

You need a high amount of traffic going to your website/blog, or
You need great content that a small amount of traffic has an interest in.

The purpose of having one, or both, in place would be to create a sales funnel through which your products, services, and messages can be matched to your lead generation efforts.

Warning: Introducing your business opportunity, upfront, has never worked.

Many network marketing companies set prices that are too high for the average distributor. This doesn’t just include the cost of the products, but also the price of getting into the business.

If you choose from network marketing companies that are too pricey, it might affect the number of distributors that you are able to bring into the business.

You shouldn’t have to expend more time and energy on building your business than necessary, because of the cost of joining a network marketing company.

Narrow down your list of network marketing companies based on high-value demand products and services.

Of all the products and services in the marketplace today, does your company supply the demand from items that are not easily found in a retail store? If so, then your company differentiates itself from brick and mortar competitors.

Even if it can be found down the street, it should have benefits that separate it from the competition.

Choose from network marketing companies that have the fewest marketing restrictions.

Does your company have an online presence which allows it to turn web surfers into customers and distributors? How easily does your company’s website funnel its prospects through the lead generation cycle?

The more marketing restrictions a company has, the more you will be restricted to face-to-face interactions.

The easier you can promote your business through internet marketing, the greater your chances of converting your lead generation efforts to a successful close.
